Today Judge Steele gave us a judgement of adoption for Samantha. She's officially ours! Technically we've been her foster parents these past six months. It was really neat to hear the Judge proclaim her our daughter for life, not that it changes anything, it was just really nice to hear. She's ours for life, and we can't wait until she's ours for eternity! July 12th we take her to the Nauvoo Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. We can't wait!!
Sami was such a trooper during the court hearing. It was right during her nap time, but she didn't fuss at all. Everyone admired her, even the Judge said she was cute and happy. By the time we got home, she could barely hold her head up. She was asleep as soon as her head hit the mattress.

I LOVE Sami's dress and bow! She's beautiful even though she's tired!

That is so exciting! I really wish I could be in Nauvoo with the rest of the family for this very special occasion but obviously that's not possible. You will definitely be in our thoughts and prayers! Congratulations!
