Sami started preschool on Tuesday. It was a big day for all of us. She goes two days a week, for two hours and she is going with three of her other friends from church. I love that she has friends already. And my friend and I are carpooling, which is fun too.
When Sami was getting dressed she said, "Mommy, I so excited." And I was also excited for her new adventures and new friends. But I was so nervous for her. I hoped and prayed that she would feel loved and accepted at school. And that she would be kind to others. I used all my nervous energy to vaccuum, mop, dust, and go to CVS. So I guess school is good for my house.
When Sami came home, Janie and I were waiting for her outside. (Janie, by the way, missed Sami like crazy!) Sami was so happy. She got a stamp for obeying all the rules and she had a great time. I am thinking she is going to have a great year.
Then today, Sami started tumbling again. This is her jumping for joy. She loves her tumbling teacher (so do I, she is our YW president!) There are only 2 other kids in her class right now, and they also go to church with us, so it is super fun for Sami.
My little girl is growing up. I feel like we are starting a new era in our lives.

Cute outfit! If it comforts you any, kids usually are really nice and don't have best friends at this stage in life. In fact, kindergarten is the same way. Ben still hasn't figured out that he's "lower" because he's younger. He tries making friends will all age groups and most everyone is still nice. I'm glad Sami has so many friends to help with this new stage. So fun :)
Just darling! What an exciting adventure for our girls!
Awwwwwwwww!!!! Sami really is growing up. It's so hard to believe, but I'm delighted she's happy in all of her activities. That's great.
Did you end up getting into Shining Star Preschool or which one? She is growing up, so cute too!!
She is adorable! Love carpooling with her. She is just so much fun!
Sami is so big!!! I can't believe it. She is so pretty and growing so fast! It's so fun to see her new activities. You're an amazing mom, Chrissy!
